TechOps Intern
ALO is seeking a hands-on TechOps Intern to support daily technical operations across Help Desk, Retail Operations, Client Engineering, and IT Operations. This role offers a comprehensive rotation through various teams, providing practical exposure to device lifecycle management, store systems, mobile device management (MDM), ticket triage, retail hardware, inventory workflows, and operational runbooks. It's an excellent opportunity for a technically curious student or early-career professional aiming to build a broad foundation in both retail operations and corporate enterprise IT.
The intern will be responsible for triaging incoming tickets and incidents, providing in-person and remote support for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices, imaging and provisioning devices, and maintaining asset inventory records. Additionally, the role involves supporting store teams with retail hardware and software, assisting with inventory-related systems and processes, participating in store rollout activities, and contributing to operational playbooks and store onboarding checklists. The intern will also assist Client Engineering with device provisioning and application packaging for MDM tools, support small deployments, and verify deployments on devices. Furthermore, the intern will shadow IT Operations engineers on patching, monitoring, and routine maintenance tasks, assist with vendor coordination and billing, and help run basic system health checks.
Candidates should be recent graduates or current seniors with graduation dates in Spring 2025, Winter 2025, Spring 2026, or Winter 2026. Unfortunately, candidates graduating in 2027 or later are not eligible at this time. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. Proficiency in supporting various operating systems and devices, as well as familiarity with MDM tools and enterprise self-service portals, is preferred.
The internship program runs from June 8th to July 31st, with interns working 40 hours per week at ALO's Beverly Hills headquarters. The base pay range for this position is $45 to $50 per hour, with actual pay varying based on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
