Technology Transactions Attorney (Morgantown, WV)
Axiom is seeking a Technology Transactions Attorney to support the technology, research, and development operations of a global consumer electronics company and its North American innovation and R&D teams. This role is based in Morgantown, WV, and focuses on innovation initiatives, including start-up accelerator programs, investments, strategic partnerships, and emerging business ventures.
The attorney will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements such as technology licenses, SaaS agreements, non-disclosure agreements, proof-of-concept agreements, memorandums of understanding, and vendor contracts. Additionally, the role involves providing legal support for innovation ecosystem initiatives, strategic partnerships, investment activities, industry collaborations, and accelerator programs. Advising business stakeholders on intellectual property rights, risk mitigation, and commercial legal matters related to emerging technologies and new business initiatives is also a key aspect of the position.
Candidates should possess 5 to 9 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including both law firm and in-house roles. Significant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial technology agreements is essential. A strong ability to work across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment is also required.
Axiom offers a competitive compensation package, with estimated total compensation for full-time attorney roles ranging from $104,500 to $325,000 per year.
