Technology Transactions Attorney (Lincolnshire, IL)
Axiom is seeking a Technology Transactions Counsel to support the technology, research, and development operations of a global consumer electronics company and its North American innovation and R&D teams. This role will primarily focus on innovation initiatives, including start-up accelerator programs, investments, strategic partnerships, and emerging business programs.
The attorney will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of complex commercial agreements, such as technology license agreements, SaaS agreements, non-disclosure agreements, proof-of-concept agreements, memorandums of understanding, and vendor agreements. Additionally, the role involves providing legal support for innovation ecosystem initiatives, strategic partnerships, investment activities, industry collaborations, and accelerator programs. Advising business stakeholders on intellectual property rights, risk mitigation, and commercial legal matters related to emerging technologies and new business initiatives is also a key aspect of the position.
Candidates should possess 5–9 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including both law firm and in-house experience. Significant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial technology agreements is essential. Experience negotiating intellectual property rights and advising on IP-related commercial matters is also required. The ability to work across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
