Legal Consultant - Regulatory - Digital Assets, Payments

Axiom is seeking a Legal Consultant specializing in regulatory matters related to digital assets and payments to support our global fintech client. This role involves leading regulatory strategies for stablecoin and digital payment initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, providing clear guidance to business and product stakeholders, and developing jurisdiction-specific regulatory playbooks. The consultant will also build and manage relationships with regulators, policymakers, and key external partners to support licensing, approvals, and market entry.

Key responsibilities include assessing and interpreting cryptocurrency, stablecoin, payments, and digital asset regulatory frameworks, developing and maintaining regulatory playbooks, and managing relationships with regulatory bodies and external partners. The consultant will provide practical guidance to business and product stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and facilitating market entry strategies.

The ideal candidate is a qualified legal professional with 5 to 12+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with expertise in payment regulatory and digital asset matters. A strong understanding of cryptocurrency and stablecoin regulatory issues is advantageous. While a legal qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
