Technical Support Associate
As a Technical Support Associate at Gong, you will be at the forefront of the customer experience, providing exceptional and consultative support to our clients. This role is integral to our mission of transforming how revenue teams win by harnessing the power of AI. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include delivering outstanding support via email, web, and phone to users of Gong products, while meeting key performance goals. You will develop expertise in Gong's offerings and common integrations such as telephony systems, web conferencing tools, Salesforce, and APIs. Collaborating with internal teams, you will troubleshoot issues, identify potential bugs, test solutions, and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to creating resources like documentation, training materials, and process guides to assist both customers and teammates.
The ideal candidate is a Technical Support Associate passionate about exceeding customer expectations to create #ravingfans. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and friendly manner. A recently completed technical degree and a keen interest in growing a career in technical support are desired. Self-motivation, proactivity, eagerness to learn new skills and technologies, curiosity, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are key attributes. Familiarity with platforms like Zoom, Dialpad, GoToMeeting, or other telephony/web conferencing tools is a plus. Exposure to Salesforce, APIs, or programming/scripting languages is beneficial but not required; an eagerness to learn is most important.
