Technical SEO Specialist
The Technical SEO Specialist at Canva plays a pivotal role within the International SEO team, focusing on enhancing the search engine performance of Canva's international pages. This position is integral to Canva's mission of empowering users worldwide to discover and utilize its design platform. The role is based in Canva's London campus, situated in the vibrant Hoxton Square area, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Key responsibilities include providing hands-on technical SEO support to SEO Country Leads across multiple international markets. The specialist is tasked with identifying, recommending, and implementing technical SEO fixes and improvements aligned with market strategies. This involves maintaining the technical health of international pages, utilizing SEO tools to surface errors and opportunities, and ensuring that fixes are correctly implemented and validated post-launch.
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in SEO, with solid hands-on exposure to technical SEO. A strong understanding of core technical SEO concepts such as hreflang, indexation, crawlability, site architecture, and structured data is essential. Experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Ahrefs, Botify, Lumar (DeepCrawl), or Screaming Frog is also required. Strong English communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are crucial for success in this role.
