Technical Product Manager
IMC is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development of next-generation trader-facing tools. This role is pivotal in reimagining workflows, visualizations, and interactions that are central to our trading operations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape how traders interact with the market, directly impacting trading performance.
Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with traders to understand their daily workflows and decision-making processes, working with engineering teams to design and iterate on high-performance graphical user interfaces, and translating business needs into clear product goals and requirements. The role also involves managing initiatives from problem definition through to delivery and adoption, focusing on workflow efficiency, and identifying opportunities to standardize tools across desks while recognizing when customization is necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience owning and driving complex products that are integral to users' daily work. While a background in trading or financial markets is beneficial, it is not mandatory. A strong intuition for user interactions under time pressure, sufficient technical depth to collaborate effectively with engineers, and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear execution plans are essential. Effective communication skills across disciplines are also crucial.
The base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $225,000 USD. In addition to the base salary, full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance. For more comprehensive information, please visit IMC's benefits page.
