This role offers a unique blend of customer engagement, technical proficiency, and operational execution within a dynamic and growing company at the forefront of digital manufacturing.

In this position, you will become a trusted advisor and technical expert for assigned enterprise accounts, conducting weekly onsite visits to build relationships and understand client needs. Collaborating closely with customer engineers, you will optimize projects for Xometry's platform through Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles, proactively identifying and addressing potential manufacturing challenges. Key responsibilities include directing customer projects to the most qualified manufacturers within our network, conducting monthly on-site audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, and managing projects to successful completion with on-time delivery. You will handle critical communications, order changes, and escalations related to customer orders, while monitoring customer-specific dashboards to track order progress, delivery metrics, and quality performance.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, product development, and project management is required, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles, particularly as they apply to CNC applications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. The role requires the ability to travel to customer and partner sites up to 50%, with travel potentially being on short notice and ranging from short day trips to multi-day trips.
