Team Lead HR Operations

Clifford Chance, one of the world's largest international law firms, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Team Lead HR Operations for its Amsterdam office. This role involves close collaboration with the Country Head of HR, Office Managing Partner, General Manager, HR Business Partners, the Works Council, and other key stakeholders to further develop and implement the firm's People & Talent strategy locally.

The Team Lead HR Operations will serve as a trusted advisor on a wide range of HR topics, including employee relations, Dutch labor law, compensation and benefits, and HR processes. Key responsibilities include managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with Dutch labor laws and internal policies, supporting compensation, benefits, and payroll processes, and implementing global HR initiatives and transformation projects. Additionally, the role involves overseeing international mobility and secondments, contributing to wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion initiatives, and leading a team of two HR Specialists.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of HR experience, preferably within the legal or professional services sector. A strong understanding of Dutch labor law and experience working with a Works Council are essential. Proven experience in stakeholder management within an international organization, as well as leading and implementing HR projects and change initiatives, is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in both Dutch and English, and a completed university education in HR, Psychology, or Law are also necessary. The position is full-time or at least 80% availability.
