Legal Technology Advisor
The Legal Technology Advisor at Clifford Chance serves as a critical link between legal practice and technological innovation, working within the firm's Technology department. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand and address the technological needs of both legal professionals and clients, enhancing the delivery and quality of legal services.
Key responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of internal legal teams' and external clients' requirements, translating these into effective technology solutions. The advisor will build strong client relationships, positioning themselves as a trusted advisor, and recommend, configure, and support the use of relevant technologies from the firm's existing tech stack, including GenAI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT. Additionally, the role involves advising on the integration of AI and other advanced technologies in legal workflows, promoting and analyzing the usage of the Legal Technology Toolkit, and contributing to projects that introduce and implement new legal technology tools.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years' experience implementing and supporting advanced legal technologies, preferably within Global Financial Markets practice areas at a global law firm. Demonstrated proficiency in recommending and supporting GenAI tools in a legal or professional services environment is essential. A bachelor's degree is preferred, with a minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience introducing legal technology solutions in professional services firms is advantageous.
Clifford Chance offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000, with actual salary commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
