Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney

Clifford Chance, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney to join its New York office. The firm specializes in advising on all aspects of project development and finance across the energy, infrastructure, natural resources, and transport sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and inclusive environment, providing integrated advice from project development through financing and delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating credit agreements and collateral documents for energy and infrastructure projects. Key areas of focus include U.S. project financing of energy and infrastructure projects, Holdco financing, U.S. tax equity financings of energy and energy transition projects, and construction to back-leverage financing. Experience with other financing structures involving tax equity or tax credits is considered a plus.

Applicants should have substantial experience in negotiating credit agreements and collateral documents related to energy and infrastructure projects. Admission to the New York Bar is required, and preferred class years are 2022 to 2018. Candidates must submit a resume and law school transcript(s) as part of their application.

Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $260,000 to $435,000, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
