SVP Channel
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Channel at KnowBe4 is a pivotal executive role responsible for overseeing the strategy, execution, and revenue growth of the company's global channel ecosystem. This position involves leading the development and management of strategic partnerships, including Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Distributors, System Integrators (SIs), and Technology Partners. The SVP will build and scale a world-class channel organization, define partner programs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership to ensure the indirect sales engine significantly contributes to the company's overall growth.
Key responsibilities include designing and executing a comprehensive global channel strategy aligned with corporate revenue goals and market expansion. The SVP will own the channel P&L, drive indirect revenue growth by setting ambitious targets, forecasting pipelines, and ensuring the channel organization meets or exceeds quotas. Additionally, the role involves identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-value strategic partners while optimizing the performance and engagement of the existing partner base. Overseeing the evolution of the Partner Program, including tiering, compensation models, Market Development Funds (MDF) allocation, and incentive structures, is also essential. Ensuring partners are fully equipped with the necessary training, tools, and marketing resources to successfully sell and support KnowBe4's solutions is a critical aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in channel sales, partnerships, or indirect revenue roles within the industry, along with a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of senior executive leadership experience (VP level or higher) managing large, distributed channel organizations is preferred. A documented history of consistently achieving or exceeding multi-million dollar indirect sales quotas and driving year-over-year channel revenue growth is essential. The candidate should possess deep existing relationships and an extensive network with top-tier partners, distributors, and integrators in the space. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and designing profitable partner compensation and MDF models is required. The ability to travel to partner sites, industry events, and company meetings, along with exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills to influence C-level executives both internally and externally, is also necessary.
