Student Trainee Tax

Clifford Chance Amsterdam is seeking a Student Trainee in Tax to join their esteemed international law firm. This two-month internship offers an immersive experience in the Tax practice group, allowing participants to engage fully with the team and gain exposure to complex international tax matters.

As a Student Trainee, you will be involved in drafting notes, providing advice, and composing correspondence. Your role will also include conducting legal and fiscal research, attending meetings and hearings, and translating legal documents. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions through the Clifford Chance Academy and engage in social events within the office, providing a comprehensive understanding of both the work and the firm's culture.

Ideal candidates are ambitious and proactive, currently in the final stages of their studies in Dutch tax law (bachelor's or master's degree). Fluency in Dutch is required, and proficiency in English is advantageous. Applicants should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to work.

The internship offers a monthly stipend of €1,000, along with lunch and travel allowances (second-class public transport, provided it is not covered by a student travel product).
