Clifford Chance Amsterdam is seeking a talented and ambitious advocaat-stagiaire to join their Tax practice. In this role, you will be trained as both a lawyer and a tax specialist, working on complex issues where legal and fiscal expertise intersect. The Tax practice is broad and internationally oriented, advising clients on corporate tax, international structures, fiscal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, financing, and restructurings. Your daily tasks will include drafting notes, advice, and correspondence, conducting legal and fiscal research, attending meetings and hearings, and translating legal documents. You will also participate in training sessions through the Clifford Chance Academy and engage in social events within the office.
Ideal candidates are ambitious and proactive, currently in the final stages of their Master's in Tax Law or already graduated. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential, along with strong analytical and drafting skills. Applicants should be flexible, driven, and possess a pragmatic approach to their work.
