This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic legal advice to international clients in the corporate sector, covering areas such as executive hiring and dismissal, compensation policies, #MeToo investigations, restructurings, disputes with works councils, employee data privacy, and outsourcing. As an advocaat-stagiaire, you will be involved in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and participating in client meetings and court hearings. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on various cases and transactions, gaining exposure to complex legal issues in the employment and pensions domain. The role also includes opportunities to participate in training programs through the Clifford Chance Academy and engage in social events within the firm, providing a comprehensive understanding of both the work and the firm's culture.
Ideal candidates are in the final stages of their studies in Dutch law (including obtaining the 'Civiel Effect') or have already graduated. They should possess ambition, initiative, and a pragmatic mindset, with a strong interest in specializing in employment law. Applicants are required to submit a motivation letter (indicating their two preferred practice groups), a CV, high school and university transcripts, internship evaluations or references, and their thesis.
