Student Trainee Notary
Clifford Chance Amsterdam is offering a two-month internship for students pursuing a degree in Notarial Law. This opportunity allows interns to immerse themselves in the firm's notarial practice and gain exposure to international legal work. Interns will be fully integrated into the team, guided by a mentor and a buddy, and will work on real cases.
During the internship, responsibilities include drafting notes, advice, and correspondence; conducting legal research; attending meetings and hearings; and translating legal documents. Additionally, interns can participate in training sessions through the Clifford Chance Academy and engage in social events within the office, providing a comprehensive understanding of both the work and the firm's culture.
Applicants should be in the final phase of their Notarial Law studies (bachelor's or master's) and possess a Dutch law degree, including the Civiel Effect. Fluency in Dutch is required. The internship offers a monthly stipend of €1,000, along with lunch and travel reimbursements (second-class public transport, unless covered by a student travel product).
Clifford Chance is a leading international law firm with over 300 legal and non-legal professionals in Amsterdam. Located in a historic building near Amsterdam Central Station, the firm advises both national and international clients. The office culture is informal, approachable, pragmatic, and slightly unconventional, blending international expertise with a touch of Amsterdam's unique character.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a top-tier international law firm, develop professional skills, and build a network within the legal industry.
