Student Trainee Disputes
Clifford Chance Amsterdam is seeking a Student Trainee to join their Disputes practice group. This two-month internship offers an immersive experience in complex commercial disputes, including class actions, corporate litigation, financial procedures, arbitrations, and regulatory matters. The firm operates internationally, advising clients such as financial institutions, multinationals, private equity firms, and other global enterprises.
As a Student Trainee, you will be fully integrated into the practice, working alongside mentors and a buddy. Your responsibilities will include drafting notes, advice, and correspondence; conducting legal research; attending meetings and hearings; and translating legal documents. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions through the Clifford Chance Academy and engage in social events within the office, providing a comprehensive understanding of both the work and the firm's culture.
Ideal candidates are ambitious and proactive, currently in the final stages of their Dutch law studies (bachelor or master). Fluency in Dutch is required, and proficiency in English is advantageous.
