Strategic Sales Manager - AI & LLM
The Strategic Sales Manager at Similarweb will be responsible for expanding the company's presence by deepening and growing relationships with some of its most valuable global accounts. This role involves owning the full sales cycle and nurturing high-stakes relationships across a portfolio of Fortune 500 and other top-tier enterprises. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Strategic Sales & Account Management.
Key responsibilities include building and executing a long-term vision for strategic pipeline generation, consistently delivering against revenue targets, and developing account strategies that generate a qualified pipeline. The role also involves identifying and engaging senior decision-makers within target accounts, leading the full sales cycle from discovery to close, leveraging Similarweb’s partner ecosystem to uncover new opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally with various teams to drive alignment and maximize impact. Travel may be required to cultivate relationships and advance opportunities.
Candidates should have over 10 years of experience selling sophisticated, enterprise SaaS solutions into large, complex organizations. Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) is advantageous. The role requires demonstrated ability to create demand and influence C-level leaders, expertise in navigating complex sales cycles, proven experience building partnerships within the C-suite, and a strong background in selling in partnership with GSIs, channel partners, and broader partner ecosystems. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, a balance of self-drive and humility, and familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, or Sandler are also important.
The base salary range for this position in San Francisco is $125,000 to $175,000, with additional benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, potential equity, an employee stock purchase plan, and paid sick and parental leave. The position is also eligible to participate in the company’s sales incentive plan, with a maximum target OTE of up to $350,000, depending upon the final terms of employment and achievement of established targets. Individual compensation is based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and relevant experience.
