Store Manager - Neuer Wall, Hamburg
The Store Manager at ALO's Neuer Wall location in Hamburg is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the store's operations. This role involves creating a positive and productive work environment that aligns with ALO's mission of promoting mindful movement and better living. The Store Manager will oversee sales, profitability, operational objectives, and merchandising standards, while developing a successful team across sales, operations, and visual merchandising.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing retail strategies, understanding the local market and clientele, and demonstrating strong business acumen through key performance indicators. The Store Manager will lead the team by utilizing company tools, incentives, and strategies to meet sales goals. Additionally, they will oversee Sales & Service, Operations, and Visual Managers to ensure the execution of all key strategies and maintain high visual standards on the sales floor.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience within the retail or related industry, with working knowledge of MS Office applications. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The candidate should be agile, capable of handling multiple tasks in a changing environment, and motivated to drive business in a fast-paced, innovative setting. An entrepreneurial spirit, independent work ethic, and alignment with ALO's guiding principles are also important. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an entire shift.
This full-time role requires availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts, with expectations to work from the week of Black Friday through the end of the holiday season in early January. ALO offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
