Staff Mobile & Product Security Engineer

To ensure robust security from the outset, the company is seeking a Staff Mobile & Product Security Engineer to join its Security team.
In this hands-on role, the Staff Mobile & Product Security Engineer will be embedded directly with product and mobile squads to integrate security measures into features before they are released. Responsibilities include owning mobile and product application security, leading penetration testing programs with a focus on mobile attack surfaces, and designing controls that meet partner security requirements to facilitate business growth. The engineer will work across native mobile apps, web clients, and backend platform services, ensuring comprehensive security coverage.
Candidates should have experience as a security engineer embedded within product or mobile teams, with a strong background in securing native iOS and/or Android applications at a consumer scale. Proficiency in mobile security aspects such as secure storage, certificate/key pinning, jailbreak/root and tamper detection, secure inter-process communication, and mobile authentication/authorization flows is essential. Experience in running or significantly contributing to an application security program for consumer products used by millions, along with the ability to perform penetration testing on mobile and web applications, is required. Familiarity with partner security frameworks and translating requirements into actionable controls is also important.
The compensation package includes a competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $250,000, an employee equity plan grant, and a bonus.
