Staff Machine Learning Engineer - Generative AI
Xometry is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead our Generative AI initiatives. The primary responsibilities include setting the technical direction for the Generative AI team, developing and deploying large language and generative models, and creating data pipelines capable of handling complex datasets. The role also involves exploring novel methods to integrate text, images, and 3D data to enhance solutions, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions into real-world products and workflows.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field being highly desirable. A minimum of five years' experience in machine learning or data science is required, with a strong emphasis on generative models, large language models, or computer vision. Proficiency in Python and key machine learning libraries, along with experience in deploying AI models using cloud microservice architecture, is essential. Strong software engineering skills and effective communication abilities across all organizational levels are also critical.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $230,000 annually, complemented by an annual bonus.
