Staff Data Analyst, Engine X

Engine is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to join the Engine X team, responsible for analyzing data related to Engine's corporate charge card product. This role involves building and maintaining performance dashboards, tracking key metrics, and ensuring data accuracy to support decision-making across product, finance, and leadership teams.

Key responsibilities include developing dashboards covering card activation rates, spend volume, gross booking value, rewards utilization, spend category breakdowns, and cardholder retention. The analyst will also investigate data anomalies, write complex SQL queries to extract and aggregate data from Snowflake, and support A/B tests and product experiments by setting up analytical frameworks and presenting findings.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Data, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field, with over 7 years of experience in data analytics. Proficiency in SQL, experience with Snowflake, and familiarity with BI tools like HEX, Looker, or Tableau are required. Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and experience with A/B testing and experiment analysis are also essential.

The compensation for this role ranges from $137,300 to $190,000 per year, with additional equity and on-target earnings. The position is remote within the United States.
