Sr. Web Developer, Marketing
Gong is seeking a Senior Web Developer to lead the development and maintenance of our high-traffic, multilingual marketing website. This role is integral to enhancing our global online presence and ensuring a seamless user experience for customers and prospects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with marketing, design, and growth teams to drive business metrics and uphold our brand's digital standards.
Key responsibilities include managing the Sanity CMS infrastructure to empower marketers in content creation and updates, implementing A/B tests in partnership with the Growth team to optimize user experience and conversion rates, and building and maintaining our design system for a consistent brand experience. Additionally, the role involves optimizing site performance, page speed, and SEO, improving localization workflows to support our global audience, and ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development or frontend engineering, particularly with marketing or growth websites. Proficiency in React and experience with web frameworks like Next.js, Nuxt, or Astro are essential. Familiarity with headless content management systems such as Sanity, Contentful, or Strapi is required. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of web performance, SEO, and accessibility best practices is also expected.
