Sr. Salesforce Engineer

The Senior Salesforce Engineer at PitchBook Data will be a key member of the Product and Engineering team, focusing on designing, building, and optimizing scalable solutions for the Support, Account Management, and Quote-to-Cash technology stack. This role emphasizes backend and data-driven solutions to ensure seamless platform integration and peak performance.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining automation solutions for revenue platforms, overseeing the health and integration of Salesforce and related systems, and leading initiatives to enhance system performance and scalability. The engineer will also drive the adoption of best practices in automation, web services, test automation, and cloud-native delivery, while mentoring team members and guiding technical direction.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development, particularly with Salesforce (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Quote-to-Cash), and related systems such as Oracle, Stripe, Sidetrade, Informatica, Snowflake, and Workato. Strong skills in designing and implementing scalable, integrated solutions, as well as a proven track record in leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers, are essential.
