As a Customer Support Specialist at PitchBook Data, you will be an integral part of our Account Management & Customer Success team, providing direct support to our clients via phone, email, and chat. This role is pivotal in ensuring an exceptional customer experience, as you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance with our platform. PitchBook, a Morningstar company, is dedicated to delivering comprehensive data and insights to the private capital markets, and your contributions will be essential in maintaining our high standards of client satisfaction.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries through various channels, troubleshooting issues, and documenting interactions in Salesforce to inform product improvements. You will collaborate closely with other support specialists and global teams to ensure continuous support availability during business hours. Achieving contact volume and quality goals, as well as effectively communicating to resolve customer issues, will be key aspects of your day-to-day work.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have at least one year of experience in a customer service role. A client-first attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite are essential. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred. An interest in financial markets, particularly private equity and venture capital, will be beneficial. The ability to adapt to a corporate culture, prioritize tasks effectively, and engage with a diverse array of customers is crucial.
