Sr. Outcomes Architect (Professional Services Sales)
The Sr. Outcomes Architect (Professional Services Sales) at Gong is a pivotal role within the company's pre-sales team, focusing on scoping and positioning professional services offerings for both new and existing customers. Key responsibilities include collaborating with account executives and sales engineering teams to position consulting services effectively, mapping customer business objectives to appropriate implementation packages, and driving functional and technical discovery to create and negotiate Statements of Work (SOW) and change orders. The role also involves engaging with legal teams to develop client-facing agreements, presenting implementation and optimization recommendations, and promoting professional services both internally and externally. Additionally, the Sr. Outcomes Architect will work to grow services revenue, expand business relationships, and maintain product expertise across Gong's offerings.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in selling and positioning professional services and over 7 years in a professional services or consulting organization. Experience in scoping, sizing, and negotiating structured SOWs, as well as familiarity with various architectures (Web, Cloud, Integration) and methodologies, is essential. Knowledge of API and data integration approaches, SaaS applications supporting enterprise business processes, and CRM systems like or Dynamics is also required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, along with a bachelor's degree and a willingness to travel, are necessary for success in this role.
