Gong is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to serve as the Senior Manager of Identity and Access Management (IAM). This role involves building and scaling a modern identity program that ensures secure and seamless access for all employees. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated IAM team, collaborate closely with Security, IT, and GRC departments, and transform identity management into a business enabler within the company.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the IAM strategy and roadmap, aligning it with Gong's security, compliance, and productivity objectives. Key responsibilities include establishing a long-term architecture for identity, authentication, and authorization across the workforce and SaaS applications, driving standardization around role-based access controls (RBAC) and least-privilege models, and managing the central identity platform, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and device-based factors. Additionally, the role involves designing and operating end-to-end identity lifecycle processes, automating provisioning and deprovisioning, implementing identity governance and administration capabilities, and defining a privileged access management program for administrative and high-risk accounts.

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with at least 3 years in a people-management or technical leadership role. Proven experience in owning and operating enterprise identity platforms, a deep understanding of authentication and authorization standards, and hands-on experience in designing and implementing RBAC/ABAC models in a SaaS-heavy environment are essential. Familiarity with access governance, compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and SOX, and a solid understanding of core IT infrastructure and SaaS ecosystems are also required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are highly valued.

Gong offers a comprehensive benefits package, including various medical, dental, and vision plans, a flexible wellness stipend, mental health benefits with covered therapy and coaching, a 401(k) program, education and learning stipends, flexible vacation time, paid parental leave, company-wide recharge days each quarter, and a work-from-home stipend. The annual salary hiring range for this position is $148,000 to $225,000 USD, with compensation based on factors such as job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. The total compensation package may also include incentive compensation, bonuses, equity, and additional benefits.
