Sr. Financial Systems Analyst

McGuireWoods LLP is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our team in our New York office. This role is integral to our Information Technology department, focusing on the administration and support of the firm's accounting and finance applications. McGuireWoods, established in 1834, is a full-service law firm providing legal solutions to corporate, individual, and nonprofit clients worldwide.

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will be responsible for administering and supporting the Elite 3E billing system, including scheduling maintenance, performing upgrades, and coordinating with database and application administrators. Additional duties involve managing systems that integrate with 3E, such as Chrome River, ARCS, IntApp Risk, IntApp Time, and custom budgeting software. The role also includes developing and executing ad hoc queries, custom reports, and data workflow processes.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience in a legal or corporate IT role, preferably supporting and customizing financial systems, and three years of experience administering and/or supporting Elite 3E or a comparable accounting system. A strong understanding of law firm accounting transaction workflows and experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL scripting, is preferred. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are essential.
