Sr. Clinical Trial Accounting Manager
The Senior Clinical Trial Accounting Manager at Structure Therapeutics will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial aspects of clinical trial activities across the company's development programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical Trial Finance, this position involves close collaboration with Clinical Operations, Project Management, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, accruals, and vendor oversight.
Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining clinical trial accruals to ensure timely and accurate expense recognition in accordance with GAAP and company policies. The role also involves supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities, assisting with internal and external audits, reviewing and maintaining clinical trial contracts, and partnering with various departments to track clinical study expenditures and perform variance analyses.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA preferred. A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant finance experience is required, including at least 3 years in biotech or pharmaceutical clinical trial finance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with NetSuite, Zip, and Condor is advantageous.
Structure Therapeutics offers a competitive compensation package, with an anticipated base salary range of $162,000 to $210,000, depending on factors such as geography, qualifications, skills, and experience.
