Sr. Automations Engineer (Latin America)
Engine is seeking a Senior Automations Engineer to join their remote team in Latin America. In this role, the Senior Automations Engineer will design and implement intelligent automation solutions to streamline operations across various departments, including Client Operations, Finance, and People. Responsibilities include developing automation workflows to reduce manual effort, applying AI and machine learning to solve operational challenges, and integrating systems such as Salesforce, JIRA, HRIS, and ERP to enable seamless data flow. The engineer will also ensure the quality and reliability of solutions through proper error handling, monitoring, and testing, and drive continuous improvement by monitoring automation performance and iterating on solutions based on user feedback.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in automation engineering or process automation, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment. Technical skills required include proficiency with automation platforms like Workato, Zapier, or Make, scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript, and API integrations. Experience with AI/ML tools and LLM-based automation is highly valued. A strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, APIs, and integration patterns is essential, along with the ability to configure actions, connect data sources, and troubleshoot agent workflows. Familiarity with systems like Salesforce, JIRA, HRIS, ERP, and finance tools is advantageous. Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements.
