Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Specialist in Business Development for its Investment Management Group (IMG) and Real Estate practices. This full-time position is based in the firm's New York office and offers a hybrid work model. The role involves collaborating with the Business Development Assistant Director/Senior Manager to drive business growth and enhance market presence in the U.S. and Latin America.

Key responsibilities include supervising the creation, preparation, and coordination of RFPs, proposals, and pitches for new business development opportunities. The Specialist will work closely with relevant partners and the Business Development Assistant Director/Senior Manager to implement ongoing enhancements to existing templates and content, ensuring the regular improvement of pitch and proposal materials. Additionally, the role involves developing a deep understanding of Skadden’s business to draft tailored content that effectively conveys the firm's credentials, differentiators, and value proposition to potential clients.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of directly related experience in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs, such as InterAction, Foundation, and MS Office (including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), is essential. The Specialist should demonstrate strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are crucial for facilitating effective work relationships.

Compensation for this position includes a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $115,000, along with year-end discretionary bonuses.
