Legal Technology Senior Software Engineer
Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Legal Technology Senior Software Engineer to join their New York City office. This hybrid role involves full participation in the product development lifecycle, from design to delivery, focusing on creating high-performance software applications that enhance user experience using the latest technologies.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with team members and end-users to establish software requirements, analyzing processes, and consulting on application design and implementation. The role also involves creating databases and application interfaces, writing high-performance code adhering to established standards, implementing security measures, developing unit tests, and assisting with testing processes. Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer will mentor other software engineers, review their code to ensure efficiency, and identify areas for process improvement.
Candidates should have experience developing applications using C#,.Net, WPF, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Angular. Proficiency in designing SQL database objects for SQL Server, including tables, indexes, constraints, stored procedures, and views, is required. Knowledge of building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline solutions and experience with developing RESTful APIs are essential. Strong verbal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and an aptitude for learning new technologies are necessary.
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $180,000 to $195,000, commensurate with experience.
