Solution Architect
The Solution Architect role at Similarweb is a strategic, client-facing position within the Go-to-Market organization, based in Burlington, MA. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to major enterprises across North America, assisting them in translating digital intelligence into measurable business outcomes. The Solution Architect collaborates closely with Sales, Account Management, Product teams, and senior client stakeholders to design and implement solutions that align Similarweb’s unique data assets with clients' business objectives.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Sales and Account teams to drive new business and strategic growth in industries such as Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel, and Financial Services. The role involves leading discovery conversations to understand client objectives and technical environments, translating business requirements into data strategies and solution designs, and delivering presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations that showcase Similarweb's value. Additionally, the Solution Architect designs scalable solutions leveraging APIs and data feeds, acts as a liaison between client needs and internal teams, and develops industry-specific expertise to position Similarweb as a strategic thought partner.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in pre-sales solution consulting, analytics consulting, or customer-facing roles at data/SaaS companies. A strong understanding of digital traffic data, market research, and online consumer behavior is essential, along with familiarity with APIs and modern analytics environments. Proven ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations is required. Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and C-level audiences, are also necessary.
The base salary range for this position in the Burlington, Massachusetts area is $90,000 to $150,000, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K plan, potential equity, employee stock purchase plan, and paid sick and parental leave. This position is also eligible to participate in the company’s sales incentive plan, with a maximum target on-target earnings (OTE) of up to $170,000, depending upon the final terms of employment and achievement of established targets. Individual compensation is based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and relevant experience.
