Roofr is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead our social and influencer strategy, focusing on content creation across various platforms. This role involves close collaboration with Design, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Content, and other teams to develop and execute strategic social campaigns. The primary objective is to enhance product awareness, generate marketing-qualified leads, engage with customers online, and strengthen the Roofr brand presence.

Key responsibilities include managing all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube. This encompasses strategizing, filming, and editing video content, as well as coordinating with the Design team for static posts. The role also involves identifying and managing sponsorship and influencer opportunities, planning and executing social media contests and giveaways, and maintaining a dynamic social media calendar with 7-10 weekly posts per channel. Additionally, the Social Media Manager will convert blogs, webinars, and other content into engaging social posts, leverage the company mascot, Roofus, in content, stay updated on trends to create timely videos, and travel to trade shows and Roofr-hosted events across Canada and the USA to capture content.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant blue-collar experience, along with over five years of experience as a social media manager, including budget oversight and channel growth. A minimum of two years managing influencers and online partnerships is required. A strong personal social media presence or proven experience in growing a professional account is essential. The candidate should have experience in creating and independently executing social campaigns, knowledge of SEO/AEO for YouTube and other social channels, and demonstrate creativity, imagination, humor, and attention to detail. Comfort in representing the Roofr brand online and acting as Roofus, the company mascot, is also necessary. Experience or significant interest in roofing, technology, or construction is preferred.

Compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 CAD annually.
