As an SMB Account Executive at KnowBe4, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. This position focuses on engaging small and medium-sized businesses, showcasing KnowBe4's Security Awareness Training Platform, and securing new clients. Success in this role may lead to advancement opportunities within the Mid-Market or Enterprise sales teams.

Key responsibilities include promoting and selling KnowBe4's products and services, identifying and closing new customers within the assigned territory, and building and maintaining a pipeline of potential clients. The role also involves forecasting new business prospects, identifying key decision-makers through various outreach methods, and articulating the value proposition of KnowBe4's offerings to enhance clients' security awareness training.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with 1-3 years of experience selling software to small and medium-sized enterprises being advantageous. Familiarity with IT security concepts, experience with Salesforce and Gmail, and certifications such as Network+ or Security+ are preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, a self-motivated and energetic approach, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently are essential.
