Site Reliability Engineering
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team at IMC Trading is dedicated to ensuring the scalability and reliability of our trading systems. As an SRE, you will be responsible for the operations of real-time systems, providing fast and effective incident response to maintain continuous trading activities. This role involves close collaboration with traders and software developers to implement improvements that enhance system operability and scalability.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the stability and reliability of the Korean trading production environment, prioritizing the resolution of system issues with urgency, and proactively monitoring trading systems to address potential problems before they arise. Additionally, you will partner with technology and trading teams to evolve and deploy system architecture, define and implement system improvements, and ensure that quick fixes are transformed into lasting solutions. The role also encompasses support and oversight of corporate infrastructure and liaising with vendors for IT-related tasks and problem resolutions.
Candidates should possess tertiary qualifications in engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with over five years of experience, including at least three years in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Integration, or a related role. Proficiency in Linux operating systems, network configuration, containers, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is essential. Strong skills in Python and Bash are required, while experience with Go, Java, and C++ is desirable. Fluency in English is mandatory, and fluency in Korean is a strong advantage.
