Senior Trademark Paralegal - Tires
The Senior Trademark Paralegal will manage and protect the company's global trademark portfolio, ensuring compliance with international trademark laws and supporting strategic brand protection initiatives. This role involves handling complex trademark prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance tasks, while serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external counsel worldwide.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the global trademark portfolio, conducting searches and risk assessments for new trademarks and product names, managing infringement cases and disputes in collaboration with internal and external counsel, advising business units on trademark strategy and risk mitigation, maintaining accurate trademark records in IP management systems, ensuring adherence to international trademark laws and company policies, and monitoring costs while managing relationships with external law firms and service providers.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in trademark law, preferably in an international company, with a proven track record in managing global trademark portfolios and enforcement actions. Strong knowledge of trademark laws, treaties, and procedures worldwide is essential, along with excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is also required. Fluency in English and basic proficiency in German are necessary.
