Continental is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Operations Counsel (m/f/d) to join our Legal Operations team within the Tires sector. This pivotal role focuses on establishing and maintaining comprehensive legal standards and policies that align with internal and external regulations, ensuring consistency and compliance across all jurisdictions. The successful candidate will play a key role in standardizing legal counseling and advice on a global scale.
Key responsibilities include contract management and independent contract negotiations, identifying and analyzing legal risks, and developing and implementing solutions to mitigate these risks. The role also involves leading strategic legal initiatives, managing legal tech tools, and conducting workshops and training sessions in both German and English. Collaboration with senior management and cross-functional teams is essential to streamline legal processes and reduce risks.
The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in law, preferably as a fully qualified lawyer, with extensive experience in commercial law within an international environment. Strong knowledge of German commercial law and international business law, superior contract drafting and negotiation abilities, and the capability to standardize purchasing and sales terms and conditions are required. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong project management skills, a high affinity for legal tech tools, and exceptional communication skills in both German and English.
