Senior Sourcing Manager - New Product Introduction
As the Senior Sourcing Manager of New Product Introduction at LVT, you will serve as the critical link between innovative engineering concepts and scalable manufacturing processes. This role is pivotal in integrating supplier innovation, cost modeling, and risk mitigation into the early stages of product design, ensuring that our AI-driven hardware solutions are both cost-effective and high-quality from inception.
Key responsibilities include leading sourcing activities during the concept phase to leverage supplier technologies, establishing LVT's inaugural Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) program with formal processes and performance metrics, and identifying strategic partners aligned with category strategies and global fulfillment needs. Additionally, you will own and achieve cost targets for new product introductions through should-cost models and total cost of ownership improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into actionable supply chain strategies, and partner with Engineering to optimize product design for manufacturability.
The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in sourcing, engineering, or new product introduction environments, with a proven track record of launching complex hardware products. A deep understanding of manufacturing processes for electronics, PCBs, casted/machined components, and injected plastics is essential. Experience in developing supplier strategy programs, expertise in cost modeling and should-cost analysis, and strong stakeholder management skills are also required.
This role is based in-office at our manufacturing facility in Spanish Fork, Utah, and our headquarters in American Fork, Utah.
