Senior Product Compliance Engineer

The Senior Product Compliance Engineer at LVT will serve as the primary technical authority ensuring that all electro-mechanical security systems and associated components meet global regulatory standards for market access, safety, and electromagnetic compatibility. This role is critical for the North American market and involves driving compliance from initial product design through mass production and sustaining engineering.

Key responsibilities include researching and interpreting regulatory and industry standards, providing proactive guidance to engineering teams on compliance requirements, and overseeing the creation of regulatory markings and documentation. The engineer will define and execute comprehensive compliance test plans, coordinate formal testing with recognized laboratories, and troubleshoot any non-compliance issues to prevent program delays.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and over five years of experience as a Compliance Engineer for electro-mechanical, IoT, or wireless products. Technical skills should include strong knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility principles, hands-on experience with lab equipment for pre-compliance testing, and familiarity with interpreting PCB layouts and mechanical drawings for compliance assessment.
