The Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise (Canada) will collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives to strategize and execute sales initiatives. This role involves conducting discovery sessions, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and acting as a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders. The engineer will translate complex customer challenges into effective solutions, develop expertise in the competitive landscape, and contribute to responses for RFIs and RFPs. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to ensure customer needs are met and to drive Motive's growth and strategic success.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering roles, preferably within SaaS and hardware environments. A bachelor's degree is preferred, with an advanced degree being a plus. The role demands exceptional communication and presentation skills, a deep understanding of value-based selling frameworks, and the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with hands-on experience in Enterprise sales cycles and navigating multiple stakeholders, are essential. Experience with APIs, integrations, and technical solution design is also required.
The compensation for this position ranges from $180,000 to $230,000 CAD in on-target earnings, which includes base pay and commissions.
