Defining and reviewing security requirements for hardware platforms, embedded systems, firmware interfaces, boot processes, debug capabilities, and device lifecycle controls in cloud-connected environments will also be key responsibilities.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in hardware security, including embedding security-by-design patterns into new devices and platforms. A strong background in collaborating with product teams to create security designs and provide security requirements is essential. Hands-on development experience in Python and C/C++ is required. A deep understanding of hardware root of trust, secure boot, attestation, key protection, device identity, and secure provisioning concepts is necessary. Experience in cloud security, runtime security, supply chain security, and application security best practices is also important.
The compensation for this role ranges from CAD 150,000 to CAD 200,000 annually. Benefits include health, pharmacy, optical, and dental care, paid time off, sick leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) contribution.
