Senior Solicitor or Senior Associate - Corporate and Commercial

Buddle Findlay is seeking a Senior Solicitor or Senior Associate to join our esteemed corporate and commercial team in Auckland. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside leading legal professionals on significant and complex transactions, contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence in corporate law.

In this position, you will engage in a diverse range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, capital raisings, shareholding arrangements, and general corporate advisory. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, providing strategic legal advice, and collaborating closely with clients to achieve their business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex transactions are essential. Admission to practice law in New Zealand is required.
