In this role, you will lead complex technical projects from concept to production, ensuring high standards for performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to build solutions that meet user needs, not just specifications. Your expertise will be instrumental in simplifying systems and leveraging modern tooling to accelerate workflows and improve code quality.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with proficiency in Python, Django, React, Postgres, and Kafka. Experience with Java, gRPC, and AWS is also beneficial. You should possess a strategic mindset, capable of understanding the underlying reasons behind your code and articulating technical trade-offs to stakeholders. A proven track record of executing complex user stories with minimal guidance is essential.
