Senior Software Engineer, Edge
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at LVT, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our hardware-software ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, building, and testing mission-critical software that powers our intelligent mobile units, ensuring they operate with exceptional precision in real-world environments. This position is based on-site at our headquarters in American Fork, Utah.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers, setting technical direction and promoting best practices. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with architects and senior engineers to design scalable and robust software solutions, maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies, and fostering effective communication across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery of software products.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with over seven years of professional software engineering experience focused on embedded development. Strong expertise in C and C++, Embedded Linux, and RTOS (with Zephyr being a plus) is essential. Additionally, excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, as well as experience with agile software development methodologies, are required.
