Senior Security Operations Engineer

Gong is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This role is pivotal in fortifying our global infrastructure, ensuring the security and resilience of our AI-driven Revenue Intelligence platform. As part of our security team, you will collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and Privacy teams to implement robust security measures across multi-cloud environments.

In this position, you will orchestrate SIEM/SOAR tools to automate routine tasks, proactively identify and mitigate emerging threats, and develop custom detection logic using YARA rules and Sigma signatures. Your responsibilities will also include managing security postures across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms, analyzing threat intelligence to inform defense strategies, mentoring junior analysts, and bridging communication between cross-functional teams to enhance organizational security resilience.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in areas such as Security Data Pipeline Engineering, Detection Engineering, SIEM Engineering, Cyber Intelligence, or Security Platform Engineering. Proficiency with EDR/XDR tools like CrowdStrike or SentinelOne, cloud security posture management tools such as Wiz or Prisma Cloud, and WAFs like Cloudflare is essential. Experience in building data ingestion pipelines using CI/CD methodologies, developing custom detection logic, and familiarity with attack frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK are also required. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication are crucial for success in this role.
