Senior Security Engineer/ Security Manager (Crypto/ Web3)
Hyphen Connect is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on enhancing the security posture of their decentralized exchange platform. This platform aims to combine the best features of centralized and decentralized exchanges, offering a safe, simple, and scalable trading environment. The company distinguishes itself by providing institutional-level systems and support while maintaining an on-chain and decentralized structure.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing comprehensive security solutions across the organization. Your day-to-day activities will include establishing and enforcing security policies, conducting penetration testing and purple teaming exercises, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and building automation to improve security processes. Collaboration is key, as you will engage with various teams to identify, alert, mitigate, and prevent security risks, contributing to the development of pioneering security solutions in a rapidly evolving industry.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Information Security skills with proven experience in application security or a related field. Hands-on experience in developing, engineering, or architecting within a public cloud environment is essential, along with proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. A solid understanding of threat modeling methodologies, containerization, DevSecOps concepts (including experience with DefectDojo), and CI/CD processes is required. Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency trading platforms is also highly desirable.
Professional certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CDP, or CMTP are considered advantageous. Experience with IT security frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001 will further strengthen your application.
