Web3 or Blockchain Developer (RWA & Tokenization), HK/China
Hyphen Connect is seeking a Web3 or Blockchain Developer to join their team focused on tokenizing real-world assets (RWA) within the electric vehicle ecosystem and real estate sectors. This initiative aims to bridge traditional finance with decentralized finance, enhancing global investment accessibility in Southeast Asia. The company is backed by a consortium of reputable partners and is recognized as a pioneer in RWA innovation.
In this role, the developer will assist in developing and deploying smart contracts for tokenizing real-world assets, such as real estate fractions and electric vehicle infrastructure yields, utilizing standards like ERC-20, ERC-721, or ERC-1400 to ensure compliance. Responsibilities include writing and testing secure Solidity contracts on EVM-compatible chains, focusing on RWA-specific logic like yield distribution and oracle integrations. Additionally, the developer will support backend development and integrations for decentralized applications (DApps) that handle tokenized asset interactions, including basic front-end connections via Web3 libraries.
The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in blockchain development, with hands-on exposure to tokenization or RWA projects, such as fractional asset tokens or real estate/commodity pilots. Basic proficiency in Solidity and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) is required, along with experience implementing simple token standards (ERC-20/721) for RWAs. Familiarity with RWA fundamentals, including off-chain asset linking, oracles, and basic compliance measures like KYC/AML in token issuance, is essential. Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks, such as React, and Web3 libraries like ethers.js for DApp connectivity is also desired.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior technical leadership to iterate on tokenization prototypes and receive mentorship on RWA best practices, such as proof-of-reserve mechanisms. The developer will also have the chance to explore emerging RWA tools to enhance portfolio tokenization, contributing to the company's innovative approach in the field.
