Web3 Full Stack Developer
As a Web3 Full Stack Developer at Hyphen Connect, you will design, develop, and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain-based systems. You will work across the full stack, from smart contract development to front-end interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly Web3 solutions. Your expertise in Web3 protocols and modern tech stacks will be critical to building robust applications for the decentralized web.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure smart contracts on various blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, and Cosmos. You will build and maintain backend infrastructure for dApps using languages like Golang, Java, Node.js, or Rust, ensuring scalability and performance. Additionally, you will create responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces for dApps using modern frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Next.js, integrated with Web3 libraries such as ethers.js or web3.js. Integrating dApps with blockchain networks, wallets like MetaMask or WalletConnect, and decentralized protocols like IPFS or The Graph will also be part of your role.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. You should possess at least 3 years of full stack development experience, with a minimum of 1 year in Web3 or blockchain development. Proven experience in building dApps or working on Web3 protocols such as DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or layer-2 solutions is essential. Technical skills required include proficiency in backend development languages like Golang, Java, Node.js, or Rust, experience with smart contract languages like Solidity, Vyper, or Rust, and strong knowledge of front-end technologies and Web3 libraries. Familiarity with blockchain protocols and tools, experience with decentralized storage and indexing solutions, and understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture are also important. A deep understanding of blockchain concepts and Web3 ecosystems, along with knowledge of smart contract security best practices, is expected.
Bonus skills that would be advantageous include experience with layer-2 solutions like Arbitrum or Optimism, familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker or Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, contributions to open-source Web3 projects or blockchain protocols, and knowledge of cryptographic principles such as zero-knowledge proofs or multi-party computation.
