Senior Security Engineer

As a Senior Security Engineer at EarnIn, you will lead security engineering efforts within our growing Information Security organization. This role is pivotal in embedding security measures and implementing guardrails for the company's AI-first strategy. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to architect secure, scalable solutions and foster a collaborative environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring active threats, performing in-depth analysis of AI-related attack vectors, and leading the development of comprehensive remediation plans. You will oversee infrastructure security by auditing, detecting, and remediating critical security exposures across our cloud infrastructure. Additionally, you will manage the end-to-end incident response lifecycle and implement advanced automation and AI agents for security tasks to improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in security engineering or a related field. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including VPC, EC2, S3, and EKS, is essential. Proficiency in Docker and containerization, Kubernetes architecture, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is required. A solid understanding of networking concepts and proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, preferably Python, are also necessary.
